Our story

Jade & Flo’s was founded by two sisters, Flora and Florence.

Our father spent much of his life working abroad. Distance was a constant in my childhood—long flights, brief reunions, and quiet goodbyes at the airport. He wasn’t always physically present, but he found his own way to stay close.

One day, he gave us a small teddy bear necklace set with a piece of red jade. It wasn’t extravagant, yet it carried a meaning far greater than its size. He told me that jade is not formed easily. It is created under immense pressure, buried deep beneath the earth for years—sometimes centuries. The longer it endures, the more precious it becomes.

Then he added something I would never forget: no two pieces of jade are ever the same. Each stone carries its own colour, its own patterns, its own marks left by time and pressure. There is no “perfect” jade—only jade that is authentic.

He said he hoped we would grow like jade—persistent, resilient, and quietly strong. That even when life feels heavy or unseen, pressure is not something to fear. It is what shapes us, refines us, and gives us lasting value. And just like jade, our differences are not flaws; they are what make us rare.

That necklace became more than an accessory.
It became a promise.

Years later, that promise became a brand.

What began as a childhood memory grew into a shared vision between us—to create jewellery that carries meaning, not just beauty. At Jade & Flo’s, we choose stones for their individuality, not their perfection. No two pieces of jade are ever the same, just as no two stories are.

Like jade, true worth is not rushed.
It is shaped under pressure.
It is refined by time.
And it lasts.

We don’t create jewellery just to be worn.
We create symbols to be lived with.
